CVS Info and Walgreens Goodbye

Jenny at Southern Savers has written a pretty complete list of CVS sale items and coupon matchups along with scenarios
here. I may come up with a smaller scenario for those of you just starting out and I'll post it here if I do.

Also, just to vent, I went to Walgreens today and they have a "new" coupon rule. They actually said that they can only accept one coupon per transaction. Yes, they said only one coupon no matter how many items I bought. So, all of you with good Walgreens stores should be thankful. Walgreens of Cape Carteret, I am done with you.

Are they crazy?! One coupon only per order!

Did you write to Corporate HQs? I wonder if they know that store is doing that?

They must be wanting to lose a lot of business! Sorry to hear about all your misfortunes with your Walgreens! I've had some issues, too and for all the extra stress, I pretty much don't shop there anymore. I just got tired of arguing with them over legitimate coupons and deals.

The last time, I had them void my order, took my coupons back and said, "I'm off to CVS.." The manager was mumbling some attempt at an apology but I just left.

One coupon per transaction when they have multiple coupons in each add..makes no sense at all! Hopefully it was a mistake..that employee made...I think I would call and ask them about it...

I talked to the store manager who was up front when I was checking out. I think they just don't want us in the store. I wasn't even mad. It was to be expected. I've never had a good trip to that store. I'm removing my prescriptions, and moving on...

WOW! The stores are getting downright silly about coupons and their *policies*. The Greenville NC Kroger has started something like this as well. I think they are panicking because they are seeing alot more couponers and lower sales overall. Don't they understand we will just take our business to *coupon friendly* stores thereby reducing their profits even more??!?!?!

I would definatly contact corporate as they want to stay with what their competitors are doing!

I contacted corporate over the great non-existent hair dryer deal a few weeks ago. My store had 2 and they were bought by employees...LOL Nice!

I sent a complaint by email to corporate and got a reply - I also got a call from the local store (which was a waste of my time, but whatever...) so definitely DO COMPLAIN. If enough of us do, they will listen.

THe economy is just too bad and there are just too many other stores for us to shop at for them to pull crap like this.
